Step 1:

Consult a non materialistic astrologer in order to understand whether a yellow sapphire gemstone shall suit you or not as per your horoscope ? Natal charts. 

Step 2:

Go for a natural certified unused yellow sapphire / guru / pukhraj gemstone from a reputed, knowledgeable & well established gem dealer. Do not fall a prey to cheap counterfeit gemstones available at most of the places. Heated / treated is recommended as per ones budget but avoid going for synthetics or imitation as it may not be helpfull at all. Avoid any recycled gemstones as it may bring inauspicious results to its wearer.

Step 3:

Once you have purchased  a certified yellow sapphire / Pukhraj / Guru, choose the appropriate metal to be embedded with it. Mostly, gold or silver is known to be the best metals to fix yellow sapphire but sometimes a golden alloy is also recommended by highly learned astrologers to suit the wearers budget. Step 8:
